Wellness Resources - http://www.wellness.com
Here is a website that might just make my BLOG obsolete, if it hasn't already! http://www.wellness.com
Every time I surf -- I never know what I am going to find on the internet!
Here is how I found it, and I recommend you try this to find NEW and interesting sites. GOOGLE a word (like wellness) and then click on I AM FEELING LUCKY, instead of just whacking the return key.
In their own words:
"About Wellness.com The Wellness professionals at Wellness.com invite you to join our community as we all seek to discover and define health for our Minds, Bodies, Relationships, and Spiritual Connections. We believe in the totality of the human experience and the ability to focus our mind to solve or resolve issues to make our time on earth more satisfying, loving, and enriching. Wellness.com was founded by two accomplished physicians, Donald Loring McGee MD, PhD and Ranya Alexander, PHD, MD , who are graduates of highly respected medical schools in this country as well as accredited PhDs: Dr. McGee in Health Studies at Saybrook Institute in San Francisco and Dr. Alexander in Biochemistry at UCLA. Both are Board Certified Diplomates, medical directors, and practicing physicians who, every day, deal with the big and small problems in people's lives. Their primary perspectives form around the importance of Prevention, Education, and Lifestyle Skills and Management. Wellness.com believes that the person and his or her family should be in the center of healthcare, not doctors, insurance companies, and institutions; and should support people's desires and beliefs to do what is best for them--including integrating alternative or complimentary medicine into their lifestyle. Key to this attainment is realizing that any person evolves throughout their lifetime with changing issues and challenges. Ultimately, the person needs to take charge of her or his behaviors, skills, and attitudes, and that is what Wellness.com is about. In addition, Wellness.com's mission is to bring these values to the consumer in one place. Further, we aim to give visitors comprehensive access to personalized information, services, programs, and products to help people live well. "
